Our Project Managers are among the highest level leaders in our company. These leaders will be responsible for the projects profitability by managing both the labor time and materials. Project Managers will oversee all the projects in their division and will be ultimately responsible for keeping project costs within or under budget. Project Managers will supervise, manage, and provide highly skilled labor as needed. Therefore, our Project Managers must be highly experienced in the construction industry, strong leaders, positive role models, tech savvy, competent, responsible, dependable, trustworthy, and motivated.
Project Management in our company is not a desk job. There may be a lot of administrative processing time, but there may also be time where our Project Managers will have to be in the field swinging hammers next to their Foreman, or to cover for a foreman in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction projects
- Schedule and coordinate work crews
- Order materials
- Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
- Ensure that all construction projects are completed in accordance with safety regulations
- Be a leader who is responsible for the success of the team around them
- Enforce company policies and regulations
- Coordinate with clients and vendors
BASE PAY: Salary based on experience.
SHIFT: Mostly daylight weekday hours, with some nights and weekend time required on occasion for planning and communicating. Our labor is taking place during daylight weekday hours, so Project Management will mostly be done along side these hours. However our PM’s will also need to budget time for communicating and planning outside of these hours as needed when an evening or weekend time slot would make the most sense.
